I have been flying pigeons in Oregon
since 1995.  I spent alot of money
purchasing birds from breeders, but
honestly, most if not all were junk. I
decided to just breed what I had with
an occasional bird from Europa race
classic to cross in.  No particular
strains or knowledge of their past,
but they  breed good enough to fly
well in South Africa and some races
that I choose to fly here in the USA.
             Bill Tadlock
Bill has stormed onto the one loft
race scene with some big wins.
He spares no expense in getting
the best pigeons money can buy.
In a short period of time, Bill has
won over 100,000 in prize money
with his super family of Pigeons.
Bill had a fabulous group in the
Ironclad 400 "Magnificent Seven"
          winning drop.
Words from Gerald Antonio....  Surely this is beginners "luck".  I
still cannot believe these two birds I bred and sent to Winners
cup took top honors.
I have always been fascinated with birds, especially the pigeons.
They are one of the most gracious and intelligent creatures made
by the Almighty.   I started the hobby about 3 yrs. ago.  My friend
built a loft in my small back yard for me, measuring 9x6 ft.  From
there I began breeding.   I acquired the parents of the two birds
above from my good buddy, Richard Banzon of RMC loft.

I wish to extend my thanks and respect to all the great breeders
that we flew with in the 2009 Winnerscup series.   Also Thanks
to Bill Hatcher, our trusted man that can really deliver the fun and
excitement when it comes to racing.   Good luck to all in next
years exciting series.
                              Sincerely, Gerald Antonio
As for many of us, I started pigeons
as soon as I was able to carry water
to the lofts.  My dad and brother
both had pigeons and I took over
the feeding and watering.  we had
show birds of which I messed up by
letting them breed randomly.  I had
a stray named "Pidge" and took him
everywhere and released him.  He
never failed me and bred me some
good birds.   He was stolen one day.
I breed mainly for one loft races.  In
1996, I went with the GFL birds.  They
are mostly Sure Bet, Mattens, silver
Boy, Phantom and some Van Lints.
Thats it in a nutshell!!

I would like everyone to meet "Donald Petersen"
from San Angelo Texas.   Also known as "Eldorado"
loft.   Donald sent ONE pigeon to WinnerscupUSA
this year.   Yes one bird.   Now I ask you, is that a
vote of confidence in his breeding efforts or what?

AU Texas 5073 is a beautiful bluecheck w/f tic that
always catches ones eye when in the loft.  Well,
he is Devriendt/Super 73 and he represented the
Eldorado Loft very well.   5073 was 1st at the 350
mile station and then also 1st in the trap at the
Ironclad 400.    I have to congratulate Don Petersen
for  the fine performance of 5073.   Don's single
entry into Winnerscup is an example of a rarity in
the one loft game.   Job well done Don!!
