Welcome back to view those breeders and racers who made our first year an exciting one.  Our
loft was well equipped with great birds and each and every race was as exciting to us having to
anticipate the winners each week.  We have photos of some breeders and racers to show
before we move onto next years format for our race.
Nick Kowalchuk from New York had a great series at the cup.  His three
bird team won top "team" honors and he was 3rd in the "Champion Bird"
category.
Nick only had 3 birds in the race!!!! Super job Nick!!!!!
07 PS 281 "Champion Point" bird for
Winnerscup 2007.  Bred by Noel Certain of Long Island, N.Y.
Noel also had 2nd "Champion Bird", PS 208 bb.    Champion"
behind Nick Kowalchuk.  Noel was the biggest money winner
this year at the CUP.
Noel is pictured with his lovely wife Vilma who is involved with
the birds...
Wow, talk about a New York conspiracy!!
The always tough Dave Clausing from Florida was on the drop at the
200 which was a grueling day with westerly wind gusts to 30 mph.  We
were all amazed to see the 4 bird drop that day.  Terry Brooks, Armando
Villalobos and the Rod n Brandy team from California were all on that 4
bird drop.  You just never know when a Clausing bird will win.
 Noel
Certains 1st & 2nd place Top Point  winners go back to Dave
Clausings Houbens that he got directly from Dave..   hmmm, 08 is
gonna be brutal!!
Carey Tilson was on the drop at the 350 taking home a nice chunk of
cash.  He had a respectable series and is always tough. Carey hails from
North Carolina and we see his name in many one loft races throughout the
country.  Carey has been a great spokes person for Winnerscup in his
area and we appreciate his support.  Carey is sending his best "Kannibal"
blood in 08 to take care of business..
Here we have the Anthony/Rivera team from Florida.  Their Super
bred team garnered some respect, especially "1893" who was 22
minutes in front at the 400 mile race.13 daybirds came through what
was an "Oklahoma" day with regards to the different wind conditions.
1893 did a super job.  You can bet the Anthony/Rivera team is gearing
up to send their
"hit squad" best of their best to try to do more damage
this year at winnerscup.
Dave Petersen from Florida had his "481" come on the drop at the 350
along with Carey Tilson.  Dave also had 481 across the board and
needed a wheel barrow, taking all the extended entries on the day.
Dave is now the US representative for
Andreas Drapa of Germany and
will send a team to represent Mr. Drapa at  Winnerscup.
We all know "Terry Brooks", Terry had a respectable series.  Besides
being on the drop at the tough 200, Terry was
3rd overall "Team
Points"
champion.Terry hails from Virginia and practically owns the
Mercedes Race.  Terry also did well in the Dutch Classic race. Terry is
sending in his
Stichelbaut crosses to do the job this year at Winnerscup.......!!
